AEON Group and one of Japan’s leading
cinema operators, managing more than 90
AEON Cinema theaters nationwide.
Established in 1991, Aeon Entertainment
has extensive experience in entertainment,
customer service, and operational
management. Based on this strong
foundation, MUGEN was created to bring
authentic Japanese street food culture to
Vietnam in a modern, youthful, and
accessible way.
MUGEN combines authentic Japanese
takoyaki with signature beverages, creating
a vibrant dining experience that matches
the lifestyle of young urban customer.

This project marks Aeon Entertainment’s first step into the international F&B industry. Vietnam was selected as the strategic market due to its fast-growing economy, modern retail environment, and strong interest in Japanese food culture among younger generations.
At MUGEN, authenticity and consistency are always prioritized. Takoyaki is prepared using traditional Japanese methods, combined with efficient operational processes to maintain stable quality throughout daily operations.
To maintain Japanese standards in Vietnam, MUGEN works closely with reliable kitchen equipment partners and suppliers. All equipment is carefully tested before store operations begin to ensure stable performance and operational safety.
Despite challenges in staff training and ingredient sourcing, MUGEN continues to maintain strict quality control standards. In the future, the brand aims to expand into shopping malls and major cities across Vietnam, becoming a familiar destination for customers who enjoy authentic Japanese street food.
